Live Webcast with The Social Network

September 25, 2010

This Sunday, the 26th, at 6:30pm EST/3:30pm PST, a live webcast with the actors of The Social Network will be held on Myspace. The live cast will feature Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield, Armie Hammer, and also includes screenwriter Aaron Sorkin.

Here is a great opportunity to ask further questions about the film. Perhaps you can ask them why one rivaling social-networking site is promoting the other. Yes, Facebook has surpassed Myspace internationally for quite some time now. It’s old news. But I thought this was amusing.

Be sure to tune in during the live event. Click here when the webcast takes place.

David Fincher’s, The Social Network will be hitting theaters Friday, October 1. The Rollingstone is already calling it “The Movie of the Year” (with a rating of four stars). For those of you who are out of the film loop, the film is about the founders of the  social-networking website, Facebook, and the dramatic rivalry between these founders as the Facebook phenomenon rises.

*Update: Did anyone catch that awkward moment of silence when screenwriter Aaron Sorkin was asked if there would be a follow up to the film or perhaps another social-network film such as twitter? I guess Sorkin doesn’t take too kindly to a sense of humor.
